Bluest water, bluest skies, hotest sun . . . coldest beverages

Day 38 ~ The Keys

We arrived in the Keys on Saturday.  We set up and went for a ride in the convertible.

Sunday we got up really early and headed to Key West.  We took our ride and a picnic lunch.  We enjoyed riding the streets of Key West and stopping often.  We ended the afternoon/evening with a romantic Catamaran ride to snorkel and watch the sunset on the ocean/gulf.

Southern most point of our trip........Key West

Snickers has been very good this trip hasn't had to go out at all.

Weird boat

We've had plenty of pelicans, they taste like chicken.

We stopped and saw Debbie Visger's Mom (Brenda) and friend "turtle" on Ohio Key.

Amazing Days !

Days 35 - 37 ~ Lost track of #'s of days somehow (hehehe)

We had an amazing time for our first time in Miami. We visited all the beaches from North to South and ended with a late lunch on Key Biscayne.  See captions for details.

Day 2 was spent in the Everglades.  We took a 15 miles bike ride through the Shark Valley Center (no sharks) which was FULL of gators and birds.  See captions again.

Alligators seen sunning along the bike path @ Shark Valley in the Everglades

We felt comfortable on bikes as long as there were walkers ahead of us(Ha, Ha).

These gators are a few feet of the bike path

As I was shooting picture of 4 baby gators I noticed mother watching me at top of photo

I couldn't believe they let the public get this close to the Gators.

Observation deck at the midpoint of our 15-mile bike tour.

The sun was setting fast we barley got out before dark.
