Day 78 ~ Wide Open Spaces Tour 2012 ~ Salt Lake City

We didn't know what to see first . . . .

State Capitol Building in Salt Lake City

Fancy Sh*t bags

Fancy street decorations

Latter Day Saints (LDS) office building

The Temple from a distance

The fountain at the entrance to LDS

Shots of the "Temple"

Pretty trees !

Temple reflection in the pool

LDS Water Works Park

Outdoor Mall adjacent to LDS Temple

Look Girls!  Our favorite places in the SAME picture!

The Olympic village

This pool was full of ice & snow unlike Lake Placid

The 90 & 120 meter jumps

The luge

The view from the top

Its a long way down so I was holding on tight

Had to light the flame

It was a beautiful day so we thought we'd tour Antelope Island

The great Salt Lake

The Island is known for their Bison

Click Play below to watch short video of Bison grazing

They are some huge fury creatures

And they generate huge amounts of fertilizer

It strange to have 80 degree temps on the ground and be looking at snow covered mountains
