Days 94 - 97 ~ Wide Open Spaces Tour 2012 ~ Missouri

The "show me" state ~ show me the Tornadoes!

We headed south and east to Branson MO on Thursday to see a few live shows and have some down-home cookin'  ~  and we stayed a bit longer due to the storm brewing in the central plains, Ozarks and heading the direction we were . . . home!

Pam really liked this 1953 Allstate

manufactued by the Kaiser corp and distributed by Sears & Roebuck Co

We didn't have room on the dolly so we had to pass

This must have heard about the floods they have here

What a beautiful old truck...

These were the stars of the Dixie Stampede, our 2nd show in Branson

We just happened to be at the Titanic museum on its 100th anniversary on its sinking, 4/14/1912

and they lit the eternal fame

We took in one more country show

we had a good view from the front row

We weren't the youngest in the audience . . . but close

The damage from the tornado that hit Branson on Feb 28 and killed 12 was still evident  ~  we are waiting out another storm here; it can't hit twice in the same city . . . right ?!@#$%^&*()?<<>::>!####$%^&*

An airplane that came off one of the building rooftops next to our RV park.

Most of the top floor gone

Its a good thing we brought our own room because most of the motels were damaged

bushes still just laying on their sides

Getting ready to head home
