Dragging our feet coming home.....but we made it !!

Day 89 - 91 Final trip

Everytime we said good-bye to the kids on this trip it was hard (on Pam).

The bridge to no where ... again; but this bridge was leaving Dozer and heading home

One last look at the base Dozer works at

This was fun, there is an amusement park also; but not open yet

Ten Cents !

If you paid extra you could design your own chocolate bar

/

Didn't know that's what a Cocoa Bean Pod looked like, did you?

Pretty

Street lights in the downtown area

I'm not a big fan of bridges or tunnels and PA had alot of them

Storm....we were glad we were taking our time driving home; this storm was a big one with tons of rain and high winds

Our first time stay in a rest stop over night (dry camping)

Dan enjoyed his 4 hours here

Snick and I woke early the second time we dry camped in Ohio Turnpike Service Plaza.  Another night of rain and wind.  When we pulled into this lot we were pretty much alone, by Snick's night run; trrucks filled the parking lot!  This picture was at 6 am and most had left the lot.

Sad that the grass is not greener and the highway was so messy

We enjoyed our time with all our friends and family on this coastal trip and we look forward to the next trip.  Thank you to everyone!  You all gave us so many amazing memories!

We have been asked what are favorite part of the trip was; and we both agreed:  the entire trip!  We loved every stop along the way, always new things to see and do; a new adventure around every turn.  We learned alot about RVing and really look forward to our next trip.

Thank you for joining us for the "Goin' Coastal on Ya" the trip via blog.

To be continued . . .

Dozer ~ new city, new job, new apartment

Day 85 - 88 ~ with our Dozer

We arrived Thursday evening and Dozer came to the RV for dinner.  It was a fun drive out of DC.

Dozer lives in the country where he can enjoy his car and other recreational activities you will see below.

Dozer's new apartment:

The RED Truck !!!!!!

He took us to several attractions in Patuxent area:

His jet !!  F-35
We can know some of what he does everyday now !!

This is the jet that LOST the bid for the Joint Fighter; Dozer said it looks like a guppy.....

Dan and Dozer; always touching and playing with all the planes

Dozer said he thinks this is similar to plane Toby fly's for Navy

Top Gun Jet ... well one like it

Dozer explaining how stuff works to his Dad; had to catch that in a picture.  :-)

The base

The BIGGEST thing in the area is the opening of the Tikki Bar for the season and we were lucky enough to be there for it !!

We had fun playing with Dozer's Christmas gift and got a few pictures:

Dozer had a short list of projects he wanted a bit of help with; one was a work bench in his rented garage.

He also is playing lacrosse again, it was really fun watching a pre-season scrimmage

Our final day in Lexington Park.  I cooked and cooked until I filled his frig and freezer.  We had smores at RV site and said good-bye, that was really hard.
