Hello Kevin ~ Virginia, Washington D.C. and crazy traffic

Day 81 - 86 ~ blog post 1 of 3:

We broke this stop into 3 posts because we had so much to show you.  We hope you enjoy the updates.

Kevin's Bed and Breakfast!

..... with sitting room and private bath .....  hehehe

All kidding aside; Kevin and his executive assistant made our stay in Virginia/DC so enjoyable.  Kevin had this room all remodeled with wood floor, new bed, new rugs, new paint and all new linens.  Maureen did alot of the shopping on her own time including the beautiful pink tulips.

The dining room was outfitted with beautiful new placemats my mom made for Kevin.  The garden court yard had the most beautiful flowers and birds.  We even christened his BBQ when Dozer and Marge joined us for dinner on Sunday.  I was great having everyone together for a meal.

The inside of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Falls Church.
His church is beautiful; he has made so many improvements in only 9 months; since becoming Pastor.

Everyone had to play a game on new ipad2 in Kevin's sitting room.

Kevin also had some new windows added before we arrived; behind Kevin you can see his new door to the fenced backyard.  The maintenance man was adding a new fence and dog run area for Kevin's new puppy (date of puppy arrival TBD)

Monday was a beautiful warm sunny day.  Kevin treated us to a wine tasting trip in the country.  We sampled eight different Rappahannock Cellars wines and had a nice lunch.

Kevin also took us to this beautiful mountain that he dreams of retiring near someday.

This is York; he showed us around.

This is across the Shenandoah River from The Farm.  This is the house the previous few pictures were taken from.  It was so beautiful and peaceful.

Dan, Kevin and Frank on deck of one of several rental cottages on the mountain that he had built.

Another perfect RV Campsite . . . .  ok maybe it is a church parking lot; the price was right.

We had a wonderful stay in Virgina/DC; continue to next two blog posts for more pictures.
Thank you again Kevin, you are a wonderful host !!!
