Day 51 ~ Wide Open Spaces Tour 2012 ~ Beaches

Southern CA Beach Tour

Our first day in Anaheim was fun, we walked around Downtown Disney for a few hours and only brought one thing!
The girls (Brittany & Candice) were upset we went there without them, but promised to take them as soon as they wanted to go, Disney was less than a mile from our RV park. This was Feb. 29th and Disney was open 24 hours!
Here are some highlights of the day after touring several beaches.

VW vans run forever ~ especially green ones

A Jetty!  Just like in Venice, FL

Pretty

Not too many people on the beach on a Thursday, huh ;-)

Newport Beach

Seal Beach

He brought a car to match his surf board color

See the Surfer Dude

Nice long pier and that is a Oil Platform with a couple of freighters

I've never seen one this close-up

Posed sitting and . . . .

. . .  standing

Windy!

Dan made me drive!  We went over these TWO huge bridges; from now on I ask him if he has his wallet before we leave the RV

"Port of LA"

Looks like another road into the ocean
