Hot in Hollywood !

The hottest day of the week just happened to be the day we picked to hang out with Melissa!

Apparently this was a very clear day for LA

See the Hollywood sign, this was as close as we got to it

It was a long way down...we walked a long way up

It was much easier going downhill...

L.A. in the background ~ Melissa said this was the first time she had been up to see the Hollywood sign and she could see the downtown skyline and the ocean!  We picked a prefect day!

While on the hill we sat in on the I-MAX Panoramic "Center of the Universe" presentation

Kodak Theater entrance was closed (probably due to bankruptcy)

Cirque du soleil just happened to be performing at Santa Monica Pier ~ that's why we had to park and walk a long way :-/ that hot sunny day!!!

The end of a hot, fun-filled day!  We had a great time with our niece Melissa.  She did a GREAT job showing us around her town.
