Days 39 - 41 ~ Wide Open Spaces Tour 2012 ~ Oasis, Sulton Sea, Indian Wells

Nice Pool, Mountains, Sun and BFF !!!!!!

We left the dry camping to spend a few days in a nice remote resort.  If you haven't figured this out by now; ALL RV campsite are called Resorts!!  LOL  We had one night in the back lot and then moved to the best spot in the the park; next to the pool!  Snickers has a beautiful green grassy area and there is not a train, freeway, airport or any other annoying noise maker in ear-shot of our RV!  We caught up on some chores and the best visit happened on Day 41 ~ so make sure you check out the end of this post  :-)

There are millions of palm trees in this area

Seedling, 3 feet, 9 feet and these which most to 30 feet or more

cool clouds

Britt ~ this bug's for you   :-)

Very strange Recreation Area - the beach is lined with dead fish; lots of birds eating the fish and the water was kinda murky.  No swimming and not boat on the the lake either.

Weird beach sand - - - it is not sand; it is fish bones

Suns going down at the beach

Guess I should've been quicker on the picture taking  LOL

This place was recommended by a Hispanic worker at the Auto Zone, doesn't look like much but the food was great.

Postcard shot  :-)

because the Mexican food down here is HOT!!!!

Beautiful evening sky

We can pick as many oranges as we can eat  :-)  yummy too

He loves his evening walks
Sunday morning we woke up early and drove to Indian Wells to meet Suzie!!!   Her family was staying just a few miles away to celebrate her Mom's 80th birthday!  We had a nice breakfast and enjoyed their beautiful hotel.  BFF for life!  I can't believe 30+ years have past and it's like we were working at Sanders yesterday together with Linda and Rita; well except for the kids and the husbands....LOL

BFF forever

Great day! with GREAT Friends
